My electronics plays a big role as well. Being able to stay on top of the bait fish and perch while on the trolling motor is all due to my electronics allowing me to see a clear picture below the boat. I can litterally see the spoon during it's up & down movement. I can see the reaction of the fish I am trying to catch.
Certainly right Jerry. I was using the Berry's Flex-it spoon on the trip within the video. I would have to say that I use this particular style and color a large percentage of the time, but I do not hold myself to one style or color. I'll mix it up a bit to get the best outcome by days end. It's helpful to have another person in the boat trying something a little different to see what works best.
