Comments for Five Days of Mercury
Outstanding job...makes me feel like I am there!
Yeah, the wind in your face... the water on the camera. Whee.
Wakeboarder might not want to wakeboard behind you guys? BigPic might be too busy with the camera to do too much spotting anyway..
Awesome video! Love the camera work, who is the nut driving the boat????
"Encourage"? Well, I don't discourage living it up. No, as mentioned, we were just living it as it came and having fun. These clips and pics were taken before I knew about any "competition" - we were just being us. Of course, I don't go anywhere without my camera (which captures HD vid as well) so I'm always ready.
BigPic, I like how your partner in the video got animated for the camera a few times. Is this something you encourage when filming? You guys knocked it out of the park with the motors and hijinks!
TOPI6 said, "...and strap yourself to the ski pole on that Larson for the aerial view..." I have an idea for that. It'll only get better.
great video, guys, gets better every time I watch it! Makes me want to be back out on the lake!
This is a great video you guys!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Next time, you should fabricate a harness and strap yourself to the ski pole on that Larson for the aerial view, Big Pic?
Yes, the Mercury's have a definite mystique - particularly the inline 6 Tower of Powers - that is every evident in your video, Big Pic. Well done! You must have a waterproof camera!
Thank you, Ladies. Fun is what it was all about. And we're still livin' it. Two years "in the making."
Awesome video! Love the camara work!!!
Very cool video!!!!! Enjoyed it!
Awesome video! Wooooo!
The original Nature Boy in action!
Outstanding video...everything comes together perfectly: sight, sound and imagery. Great job!
the nature boy will always live wooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ooooooooooooooooo
Im a big fan of the old inline 6 tower of power.... great video!!!! best power to weight ratio of any outboard ever made!
Thanks, SwanLady, Steph, jANISSTE, and Bexx. That's what made this so fun to make - we'd been out there living it for the last few years. This Merc deal provided the right impetus to bring it all together in this compilation. Each classic Merc is perfectly mated to its respective hull and matches what each craft is meant to do.
The Mercury ride looks like an experience to remember with tremendous power exhibited. Great video!
Awesome "Five Days with Mercury" power!! You bring the Mercury to a new height displaying how to have an amazing ride with a great engine. You have a winner of a video!!!!
Cool video..Looks like you were having a great time.
Yo, SC, you have NO IDEA how fun it was to enjoy these moments over the last two years. And the cool thing is all these craft can be put on the water tomorrow by one owner. There is something cool about seeing other guys stop to catch a look when they see these motors and craft going into the water.
Great video, great engine and boat, looks like ya'll were having fun!~
The mid 70s inline 6 was the King of the Lake before the V-6s. The late 80s inline 6 was the ultimate inline 6 offering, and the Black Max took Mercury to new heights. Nice representation of Merc history!
This vid was compiled over 2 years - done! Three legendary Merc motors and three hulls. All are still in service and under one roof.
